Hi! I’m Aistė. When I was on my healing journey, many beautiful people came into my life and helped me in so many ways. I now give back to the community by shining light on those who are in service to others. I want you to know their story. 🤍

Welcome!

It’s so good to have you here. 🤍

Today, I’m interviewing Lucie Aidart. 🤍 Here’s what to expect in this edition:

  • Introduction – why I’m interested in Lucie’s story

  • A video snippet from our interview

  • An article from our conversation

  • A Gift from Lucie, to You

  • (Member’s Special): One More Gift from Lucie + Full Video Interview

Let’s dive in 🤍

A Heron in Awe 🤍

I’ve been thinking about this introduction for a little while because I honestly don’t even know where to start when it comes to Lucie. She does so much — she’s an artist, a writer, a shamanic healer, and truly a beautiful person inside and out. She just oozes creativity and love. She works in film, collaborates with her partner Olivier Esposito in sound and text, and she’s also written two books — which, for someone on a creative and ever-evolving journey, is so inspiring. The way Lucie trusts the flow of the universe, allowing whatever comes her way to inform her career and creativity, is something I admire deeply.

What truly stands out to me about Lucie is her ability to give back. She’s a unique healer, connecting to higher realms to bring back profound wisdom—not just for her clients, but also for her creative work. Her whole approach is about being of service, flowing with life, and sharing her gifts.

I’m so grateful to have people like Lucie come to my life. I really do feel that there’s some kind of deeper connection between us — maybe something from a past life, perhaps even related to Japan in some way. We laugh about it, but I have this sense that we’ve crossed paths before — maybe even on some journey across the water. But I’ll save that story for another time, probably in my personal blog Heron of Bath.

Here’s Lucie, sharing her wisdom on creativity, inspiration, love for the Earth, love for humanity, and her incredible healing work. She’s an inspiration on so many levels, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to share her with you. She’s also the first person I talk to that also writes on Substack, which is pretty cool! I’ll link all the details below — enjoy!

A Moment from the Interview:

Here’s a little snippet from our conversation, which has been crafted into an article below. 🤍

Lucie Aidart: Healing Through Words and Spirit

Lucie Aidart is a bilingual writer, shamanic healer, and artist mentor based in Edinburgh. Originally from France, her journey has been anything but linear — shaped by deep spiritual awakenings, creative devotion, and a belief in healing as both personal and collective.

Her first book, L’Envol, was written entirely in French — a channeled memoir born from an intuitive process that unfolded over nine months. “It wasn’t planned or outlined,” she says. “It just came through me.” The book weaves together stories of personal transformation, spiritual insight, and emotional healing.

Her second book, The Antarctic Bridge, is her debut novel. “It’s an eco-spiritual novel that brings spiritual wisdom to help us find ideas and solutions for healing the Earth.” She recently completed the manuscript during a quiet, focused retreat. “There was urgency and flow, both at once,” she reflects. “I had to show up and do the work, but also surrender to the mystery.”

Lucie’s path wasn’t always this clear. A little while ago, she was a travel blogger, moving through countries and experiences with a mix of wonder and restlessness. A near-death experience in Thailand marked a turning point, pushing her inward and onto her healing path. That journey ultimately led her to shamanism — and to writing with intention, depth, and spirit.

Now, she works with artists and creatives through one-on-one shamanic mentorships and ceremonies. These aren’t cookie-cutter sessions — each one is designed around the individual. Some come for a single healing, others commit to long-term work. “We look at what the soul is asking for,” she explains. “Whether it’s power that needs to return, or old energy that needs to be released.”

At the heart of her shamanic practice is core shamanism — a non-lineage-based approach focused on restoring wholeness and removing energetic blocks. She offers power animal retrievals, soul retrievals, extractions, and land healing — all with the aim of reconnecting the person to their inner truth. “When we reclaim parts of ourselves that were lost, we return to a sense of unity,” she says.

Lucie also shares her journey through a bilingual Substack, The Alma Writer, and a YouTube channel where she offers creative reflections, spiritual tools, and glimpses into her life in Scotland. “It’s all intuitive,” she says of her creative output. “It’s a way of connecting. I want people to open to new ways of seeing.”

Much of her life now revolves around presence, stillness, and a slow creative rhythm. After years of movement, she’s rooted herself in Edinburgh — drawn there by an inner knowing. “I had only visited twice before I moved,” she says, “but I felt very clearly that this is where I had to be.”

Her creative and spiritual lives have become deeply intertwined. Whether she's working on a novel or guiding a client through a soul retrieval, she sees both as expressions of the same essence: connection, devotion, and truth.

When asked for tips on how to connect to the spark of creativity, her answer is simple: movement. “Dance, even if you think you can’t dance. Stretch. Move your body. Let it guide you,” she smiles. “It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.” Unless you’re a dancer. In that case you might need to paint.
